Responsa of the Rash, with Stamps of the Rav Hakadosh, Rav Yehuda Leib Twersky, son of the Rav Hakadosh Rav Mordechai Dov from Hornosteipel.
The Rav Hakadosh, Rav Ben Tzion Yehuda Leib Twersky was born in year 5628. His great father, Harav Hakadosh Rav Mordechai Dov from Hornosteipel- the son-in-law of the Divrei Chaim from Sanz, cherished him and honored him and wrote to his Chassidim that "his mouth is like my mouth, and his hand is like my hand". From year 5663, he took his father's place. He stood out in his great attribute of chessed, and like his grandfather, his charity knew no bounds. [Chassidus Encyclopedia, page 363].
His stamped signature is located on page before title page, title page, and last page.
Responsa of the Rash, Vilna Edition, 5641 [1881]. Beautiful copy with yellow jacket. Binding is very worn out, without spine. In good condition.
