Konakovo faience factory named after M.I. Kalinina. On the base are fragments of overglaze hand-painted black paint.
Kholodnaya Maria Petrovna (1903, Kiev - 1989).
Soviet sculptor, master of arts and crafts, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. In 1928 she graduated from the institute and moved to Moscow, where she worked in a ceramic workshop at the State Museum of Porcelain. In 1934-1957 she worked at the Faience Factory named after M.I. Kalinin in Konakovo. She also worked at the sculpture factory number 1 in Potymikha and at the Gzhel ceramic factory. Maria Kholodnaya was a regular participant in domestic and foreign exhibitions (in Paris, Brussels, Vienna, Helsinki). Her works are in the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Museum of Ceramics in Kuskovo; as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
