Roerich Svyatoslav Nikolaevich (1904-1993)
Russian and Indian artist, public figure, collector of oriental art, honorary member of the USSR Academy of Arts (1978). The main genres of paintings are landscapes, portraits, symbolic compositions. Son of Nicholas and Helena Roerich. The first exhibition of paintings by S. N. Roerich in his homeland opened on May 11, 1960 at the State Museum of Fine Arts. A. S. Pushkin.
