Four pieces of ink in their box, Qing dynasty
The four differently shaped ink pieces are decorated with reliefs of mountain landscapes and palace gardens on the one hand, and engraved poems on the other. They are also decorated with gold leaf scales and polychrome. The box that houses the pieces is made of carved wood with an inscription on the lid "御製四庫文閣詩墨" (The poetry and ink of the imperial Siku Wenge).
