Jadeite bead necklace, Qing dynasty
Composed of a total of 27 oval-shaped carved jadeite beads, milky in colour with subtle green flecks, alternating with 54 small coral-coloured carved stone beads, arranged in pairs. All of this is crossed by a knotted cord added at a later date.
