Amsterdam Print Houses were famed for incredible beauty of their print, complete with clear lettering and high-quality paper. This spawned the frequent practice for printers to claim their products were printed as in Amsterdam. Spanish Jews who wandered across the globe following their expulsion took this with them wherever they went. In this way they succeeded in preserving the original Spanish version of prayer.
