These three essays on Mussar contain all aspects of thought and Mussar in Jewish tradition.
In this edition, there are two Haskamot: The first by the Sefardic Chief Rabbi of Amsterdam, Rabbi Yitzchak Chaim Di Brito, and the second by the Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi Rabbi Shaul Levinstam. It is also fascinating that it also includes in Portuguese, praises of the current printing from Rabbi Meir Ha-Cohen and Rabbi Yitzchak ben Eliyahu Hezekiah Ha-Cohen. Rabbi Shaul testifies in this edition: "we added... many things… from the above-mentioned Sages".
An essay called 'Tochachat Mei-Golah' (10 pages) was added at the beginning of this edition.
