Halachic Ruling in the Handwriting of the 'Baba Meir' - Rabbi Meir Shalom Abuhatzeira, with an Additional Clarification in the Handwriting of the Holy 'Baba Sali', may his merit protect us.
A rare page written in the city of Erfoud, containing a halachic ruling regarding the portion of the widow in inheritance, in the handwriting of the Kabbalist Rabbi Meir Shalom Abuhatzeira - 'Baba Baruch', with an added three-line clarification by his father, the divine Kabbalist Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira – the 'Baba Sali', may his merit protect us.

Rabbi Meir Shalom Abuhatzeira – The Baba Meir
Head of a Yeshiva and Moroccan.
Born in the province of Tafilalt in Morocco, the firstborn son of Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira, the 'Baba Sali', and Rabbanit Perachah (Amsalem).
At the age of twenty, he went to the Great Beit Din (Court) in Rabat - the capital of Morocco - to be examined for the rabbinate. Despite the difficulty of the exams, he successfully passed them, and the head of the Beit Din wrote to his father, "Your young son has come to be examined and is found to be examining us." This letter is preserved among the family to this day. In the year 5712 (1952), at the age of twenty-five, he was ordained as a Rabbi. In the year 5715 (1955), he was appointed as the Rabbi of the city of Midelt in Morocco and later became the head of the 'Tomchei Temimim' Yeshiva in the city. In the year 5723 (1963), he was appointed as the Rabbi of the city of Erfoud.

Rabbi Yisrael Abuhatzeira – The Baba Sali
The Rabbi of the Tafilelt province and the head of the yeshiva in the province, a revered Moroccan Kabbalist known as the 'Baba Sali' ("Father Israel" or "The Praying Father"). He was famous for performing miracles, and many sought him for blessings, advice, and amulets.
