Manuscript: 'Sha'arei Kedusha' and 'Lechem Todah' (Laws of Shechita) – Numerous Glosses. Yemen.
A handwritten book, 'Sha'arei Kedusha, ' containing a concise guide to the laws of schechita and blemishes of the lungs, according to the customs of the holy community of Sana'a, by Rabbi Yechiel Tzalach (Maharitz). Includes 'Lechem Todah' by Rabbi Yehia Badichi, a disciple of Rabbi Meir and Rabbi Moshe Zakkut in the city of Sana'a.
Complete composition with two introductions by the authors, written in a neat and organized Yemenite script in two columns. Illustrated cover.
The inscription in large letters at the bottom of the cover is likely from the scribe or copyist of the manuscript.
Throughout the book, there are numerous handwritten notes and glosses.
