Sefer Mitzvot HaGadol, Venice [1522]. Post Incunabula, the Press of Daniel Bomberg
A Sefer Yesod of rabbinic literature. Special Copy in an Original Parchment Binding.

Chidushei Halacha based on Mitzvot Asseh and Mitzvot Loh Ta'asseh of the Torah. By Rabbi Moshe of Coucy.

This copy:
A most impressive copy in an original parchment binding. Thick quality leaves. Several glosses and signatures. The title page of this copy was illustrated by an artist, apparently in the 18th century. Impressive, hand-illustrated calligraphic border in which the book's title, author, place of printing and year of printing were written.
The book is bound in its original binding, made of bright, thin parchment with embossments.
Colophon on the last page: "The work has been completed in Rosh Chodesh Adar II 1522 by the brothers the sons of Baruch Adel Kind of Padua, on behalf of Daniel Bomberg and in his house".

Venice, [1522].
Illustrated title page. 249 leaves. Wonderful condition. Original parchment binding.
