A unique work of art made by the artist in England in 1982, numbered 1 of only 6 that exist in the world, and hallmarked by him. A unique collectible fit for a museum.
On a marble plinth, Weil placed the figure of King David. Casting work using 18k and 24k gold and semi-precious gemstone. A numbered and signed edition. In one hand, David is holding the harp with the words 'Tehilla LeDavid' on it; in the other, he is holding a golden pen and golden parchment on which David wrote the Psalms "Hasehm Ro'i Loh Echsar".
Georges Weil was a talented, autodidact, most colorful artist. Collectors of Weil's works included Frank Sinatra, Sammy David Jr., Peter Sellers, Queen Elizabeth of England, and the Hollywood Queen - Elizabeth Taylor.
