Elegant Silver Spice Container. Apparently Germany of Austiria in the 19th Century
Original Hebrew engraving of the famed Biblical text: "וְשָׁמְרוּ בְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת הַשַּׁבָּת לַעֲשׂוֹת אֶת הַשַּׁבָּת לְדֹרֹתָם בְּרִית עוֹלָם".
Elegant, early silver container which opens with an upper door. Divided into six small compartments for placing spices for the Havadalah ceremony on Motza'ei Shabbat.
The silversmith decorated the upper side with an engraved scroll with the text of the Kiddush.
