Pair of oil paintings on canvas. Equal measurements for both. Unframed: 51 x 47. Framed: 63 x 62. Interior scenes representing two allegories. In one of them, an allegory of the arts, with a woman in the center playing a lute surrounded by secondary characters; Next to it, male busts, and paintings in the background. In the other, an allegory of science, with a woman in the center showing her breast while holding a compass, a globe next to her, and other characters reading and showing science and cartography utensils. Signed in the lower corners FW Verbeek. Frans
