Rolex GMT-Master Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified. Ref. 6542. Men’s watch with Oyster bracelet in stainless steel.
Black dial with painted indices and original luminescent material prior to the use of tritium, along with luminous hands and an additional red hand for the GMT function, central seconds hand. Date window at 3 o'clock with a Cyclops magnifying lens. Stainless steel case with an original plexi bi-color (red and blue) rotating bezel, commonly known as a bakelite bezel, which was mostly replaced with aluminum bezels in later models.
The watch retains its original dial and case, with well-defined edges and signs of an initial factory polish. Automatic movement certified as a chronometer. An iconic model in completely original vintage condition, ideal for collectors who value pieces with history and authenticity.
