"Strovel Hitler" is an illustrated British parody from the Second World War about Hitler and other Nazi and fascist figures including Hermann Goering the commander of the Luftwaffe, and Josef Goebbels the Minister of Propaganda. It is based on a popular 19th century German children's book by Heinrich Hoffmann, Struwwelpeter, (The Wild Joshua) of "scary stories and nasty pictures to teach good little people". It details the horrific things that can happen to children who misbehave in anti-Semitic visuals. 1940.
