In the year 1810 Rabbi Moshe Shapiro decided to print Shas in a small format, so each page should be extended in two pages, for those traveling, especially Chasidim traveling to their Rabbi's, enabling them to devote in the holy Torah learning during their traveling time. At the end he only printed Tractate Rosh Hashana, Megila, and Succah, with Rashi, Tosfot, MaHarSha, Piskei HaRash and Rambam on Mishnayot. These Tractates are very valuable and rare.
Beautiful new leather cover, some pages professionally rehabilitated. Stained. General condition very good.
