A FINE ANTIQUE CHINESE HANDSCROLL
Ink on silk, depicting a scholar surrounded by other scholars and several ladies under pine trees with another side scene portraying domestic help preparing a table of sweetmeats wine and tea with a peopny flower. Signed and sealed. Frontispiece-two silk brocade panels depicting phoenix and a third grey/blue silk panel with black and gold ink depicting dragons and bats among clouds. calligraphic colophon. brocade wrap around cover decorated with fine dragon rui and floral sprays. Full length: Approx. 6.2 meters.
