A beautiful edition that includes a facsimile of the illuminated book of manuscripts from the early 15th century, including prayers for each canonical hour of the day. The book was commissioned by Jean, Duke of Berry, who was the son of King Jean II of France and brother of Charles V, in 1404. With 32 beautiful color plates. The book is in a hard box.
English, 25X18 cm. Good overall condition, light wear.
