Chessed LeAvraham by Rav Avraham Azulai. One of the First Sefarim to be Printed by Rav Moshe Shapira. Wide margins. Slavita, 5554 [1894]

Chessed LeAvraham, the sefer of Rav Avraham Azulai on Kabbala, including 'Breichas Avraham' and an explanation of chazal's sayings according to kabbala by Rav Chaim Vital.

One of the first sefarim printed by Rav Moshe Shapira in Slavita, in which his name is not printed on the title page at all; it is only printed on the next page. With the approbation of his mechutan [mechutan is the parent of the spouse of one's child]. Rav Yaakov Shimshon of Shpetivke, Av Beis Din of Slavita, who mentions Rav Pinchas of Koritz: "My mechutan, the outstanding Rav, son of holy people, botzina kadisha [literary: holy candle], Rav Pinchas". It is known by way of sefarim and authors, that in those years, the printing license for this printing press was not yet received.

Thick, very good quality paper. Wide pages. Important kabbalistic etchings.
