Set of The Zohar, Slavita 1805. Copy belonging to the illustrious family Fish from Kaliv.
On the title pages of all 3 parts is the signature of the owner, Aharon Yeshaya Fish, and in Vayikrah , Aharon Yeshaya Fish from Kaliv is added.
Apparently it is the signature of the philanthropist, Rabbi Aharon Yeshaya Fish of Kalib, the son of Rabbi Yaakov Fish of Kalib, who received the blessing of the Baal Shem Tov and lived for one hundred and thirteen years. R' Aharon Yeshaya was the brother of the grandfather of the Admor Rabbi Aharon Yeshaya Fish from Hadas, author of the Kedushas Aharon, he is mentioned in the letter of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Rimenov, see Be'eros Hamayim ( Kapichnitz edition, p. 177)
On the pages before the title page are birth lists from the years 1807 - 1835 that correspond to the names of the above family members.
Apparently the book was inherited by the grandson of his brother the Admor Rabbi Aharon Yeshaya Fish of Hadas. (A kvitel headed with the word Hadas was found between the pages of the Zohar).
It was passed on to his son-in-law the Admor, Rabbi Yechezkel Rotter of Klausenburg, on the title pages of the books is the stamp of his grandson Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Rotter son of the above Rebbe, Rabbi Yechezkel.
