Manuscript. Ben Sira and Eldad Hadani
Two early works Yemen, 18th century (?)
• Sefer Ben Sira – Early work that is often mentioned by the Tanaim and Amoraim in the Gemara.
• Eldad HaDani – Story of the ten tribes that were exiled to the other side of the Sambatyon River and the laws of slaughter. (Laws of Shechitah from Eldad Hadani in the times of the Geonim, are quoted in the works of the Rishonim.)
Small manuscript volume.
120 leaves. 12x8 cm.
Heavy worming damage, including in the text. Tears with loss. Poor condition. New, simple binding.
