Chabad. Manuscript Maamar from the author of Tzemech Tzedek. From the bequest of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Havlin.

Maamar on Parshat Veschanan by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn - printed with variations in Ohr HaTorah.
Leaf 8b bears the stamp of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Havlin.

Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Havlin (1877-1936) was the founder and Rosh Yeshivah of Yeshivah Torat Emet in Hebron and Jerusalem. He was a prominent chassid with a close relationship to the Admor HaRashab and Rayatz. At a very young age, he already served as “chozer” for the maamarim of the Rashab and was one of the most serious students in the chaburah.
The Rashab sent him to Hebron to found a yeshivah and the Rayatz later sent him to Jerusalem on the same mission.
He raised hundreds of steadfast talmidim who excelled in chassidus and fear of Hashem. Refer to Sefer HaMashpia (Jerusalem, 1982) for a lengthy biography of this personality.

26 pages [13] leaves with text on both sides of the leaf.
Tape reinforcement on the first and last leaves, a few worming holes, new binding.
