הרב כתריאל פישל טכורש - (ה'תרנ"ז- ה'תשל"ט) רבו של שכונת שפירא בתל אביב, בגיל 17 בלבד כבר הוסמך לרבנות!! משנת 1934 היה חבר במועצה המורחבת של הרבנות הראשית לישראל ובשנת 1965 נבחר לכהן במועצת הרבנות הראשית. היה ממייסדי חבר הרבנים שעל ידי הפועל המזרחי ואף עמד תקופה מסוימת בראשו.
