עיר תהלה, תולדות העיר בריסק וזכרון רבניה אנשי השם, כולל גם ידיעות מזמן ההדפסה - ווארשא, בשער הפרט עולה תש"י מה שלא יתכן וגם לא מתאים לשנה הלועזית: 1886. ככל הנראה חלה טעות בשנה העברית ונדפס בשנת תרמ"ו. [לפי האישור מהצנזור שמופיע מעבר לשער שהתקבל ב -13 בנובמבר 1885 מוכרח שהודפס בשנת תרמ"ו].
