Four Notices - Funeral of the Ga'on Rabbi Yoel Aryeh Leib HaLevi Herzog - Yerushalayim 1935.
Four notices calling for the funeral of Rabbi Yoel Aryeh Leib HaLevi Herzog, whose "coffin will be brought to the holy city of Jerusalem". The ads were published by the following organizations: the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, the Agudath Israel Center in Eretz Israel, the City Council for the Ashkenazic Community, the Mercaz HaRav Central Yeshiva, the TAFI Executive and the Etz Hayim Yeshiva.
One of the ads reads: "The Torah public is asked to come and distribute the last honor of Yashrei Daschabi and to be called Dachai, his son, the great and famous Gaon Rabbi Isaac Isaac HaLevi HaRatz, shlita, Av Beit Din of the Republic of Dublin.
Rabbi Yoel Aryeh Herzog died in 1934. On the 14th of Iyar, 5637, his coffin was brought to Israel and he was brought for burial on the Mount of Olives.
