Beautiful and elegant piece, created in Zurich Switzerland by the famous jewelry house of Gubelin during the post war period, circa 1950. This stunning one of a kind rare brooch has been crafted in solid .950/.999 platinum with high polished finish.It is mount with a great selection of natural Diamonds, all calibrated with a combined weight of 6.42 carats, white colorless E/F color, VS-1 clarity, described as follow;Channel set with 31 straight step cut baguette and French squared carre, 1.86 carats.Prong set with 11 round brilliant cut, 1.32 caratsFlat set with 72 European cut, 3.24 caratsHas a total weight of 21.3 Grams and a measurements of 52 mm by 38 mm (2.05 x 1.51 Inches).Stamped with the maker's mark, the hallmark for the assay of the platinum, the serial numbers and signed in full, "GUBELIN PT.950 382046".
