Tefillat Yisrael. Pietrkov, 1921. Impressive Volume

"... to bring blessing into your homes, and in this merit, may you be blessed with all goodness from the source of all blessings ..." (The Admo"r Rabbi Pinchas David HaLevi Horowitz in his approbation)

Siddur Tefillat Yisrael for the whole year with the Divrei Shlomo commentary by Rabbi Shlomo b"r Chaim Chaikel Yanovsky. Sefard text. Pietrkov, 1921 [should be 1923]. Segulah siddur.

Siddur for the entire year with Ivri Teitch and the extensive commentary 'Divrei Shlomo' (previously printed on its own), and the Passover haggadah Podeh U'Matzil (previously printed on its own).

With approbations, Rabbi Meir Yechiel of Ostrovtza, Rabbi Chaim Soloveitchik of Brisk and others.

The commentator and publisher Rabbi Shlomo Yanovsky immigrated to the United States, where he showed the siddur to the Admo"r Rabbi Pinchas David HaLevi Horowitz (the first Admo"r of Boston), who ordered the gabbai to write in his name as he dictated: "Indeed this matter is good in the eyes of [the Rebbe], shlit"a, he will also take a siddur ... and it is appropriate to support him and assist him and purchase his work from him and this will bring blessing into your homes, and in this merit, may you be blessed with all goodness from the source of all blessings." The gabbai signed: "He who writes by order of [the Rebbe], shlit"a, as dictated to me."

Thick siddur including approximately 500 leaves. Mispaginated. There may be copies with an additional half-title. Psalms at the end of the siddur with dedicated title page, not found in all of the copies.

Fine-very fine condition: minimal aging stains. Reinforcements in the margins of several leaves.

Elegant antique binding.
