Mishnayot with the Gr"a's Commentary. First Edition. Copy that Belonged to the Gr"a's Kloiz!
Mishnah with commentaries, and with the Elyah Rabbah commentary by the Gr"a. Seder Taharot. Horodna-Vilna, 1818. Lacking the title page. Owners' stamps: "The Gr"a's Kloiz Mishnayot Society" and "Belongs to the kloiz of the pious gaon of Vilna."
First edition of mishnayot with the Gr"a's elucidations, printed around the mishnayot. On the last leaf: "For Tractate Kinin by the gaon Rabbi Eliyahu of Vilna." Appearing in this copy, on leaf [6] of Eliyahu Rabba, are the rules of tumah. This leaf does not appear in Mifa'l HaBibliographiah, and is not mentioned in Otzar Sifrei HaGr"a no. 183!
The Gr"a's Kloiz was established in a building in which the Gr"a sat and studied, where he prayed together with a quorum of close associates. After the Gr"a's passing, a sign was put up over the place he sat, reading, "This is the Gr"a's place ..." The kloiz hosted regular lectures and was conducted according to the Gr"a's customs. It was a famous study hall which was active until the Holocaust.

Fine condition: Aging stains. Taped reinforcements to the first leaf. (Restored) tear with lack in the corner of the last leaf. Simple binding.
