Beit She'arim. Dedication by the Author's Son Rabbi Moshe Nachum Blum. Rare

Beit She'arim. Responsa on Yoreh Deah. By Maran Rabbi Amram Blum one of the greatest Poskim of Hungary, a disciple of the Ketav Sofer and the successor of the Maharam Schik in the Rabbinate of Chust. He is known by the name of the book before us, as the Beit She'arim. Grosswardein, [1842]. 


On the top of the title page a lengthy poetic dedication handwritten by the  author's son the gaon Rabbi Moshe Nachum Blum Doma"tz of Grosswardein, who was also the one who published this book, wrote a lengthy foreword at its beginning and even added his own Torah novellae to it. The dedication was written for the Bar Mitzvah of the grandson of the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Ulman the rabbi of Grosswardein, the son of the 'Yeri'ot Shlomo', the author's rabbi and friend.
