Ma'agalei Tzeddek im Mas'ot HaYam relating just a few of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov's customs, with the schedule of travels he underwent overseas on his journey to the Land of Israel. Warsaw, 1879. Beautiful early edition of both parts.
Early edition of the book eventually called Shibchei HaRa"n (Shibchei HaRebbe Nachman), one of the basic books of Breslov Chassidut, written by his disciple, Rabbi Nathan (Steinhartz) of Breslov. In this edition, the book still goes by its original title, Mas'ot HaYam.
The book is something of a completion of the book Chayyei Mohara"n, also written by Rabbi Nathan, about the life of Rabbi Nachman, his conduct and his praises. The content of the book tells of Rabbi Nachman's trip to the Land of Israel, hence its original name, Mas'ot HaYam, The book was first printed in 1816 at the end of Sippurei Ma'asiyot, authored anonymously by Rabbi Nathan. In this edition, the book was printed as a book in and of itself.
