5 volumes (out of 20). Parts 1, 4-5, 7, 11, 15. 32 cm. Each volume has the signature of Rabbi Moshe Dov Wolner, Head of the Beit Din of Migdal, Ashkelon.
In the book margins are tens of lengthy, scholarly comments in an attractive, legible Ashkenazi handwriting.
Rabbi Hayim Hezkiyahu Medini (1833-1905), was the rabbi of Bilohirsk on the Crimean peninsula, and in Hebron. He was a brilliant and erudite, one of the greatest among recent poskim. His wide-ranging book is considered an “halakhic encyclopedia, ” and has been disseminated widely among Jewish communities.
