"Meshivat Nefesh" which strengthens tired souls…, compiled from the works of Rabbi Nachman of Breslov and his disciple Rabbi Noson. Jerusalem, [1960[.
The interior of the binding bears an inscription from 1963 from Rabbi Yisrael Dov Odesser – a present to a Bar Mitzvah boy.
Rabbi Yisrael Dov Odesser was born in Tiberias in 1886 to a family of Karlin chassidim. In his youth, he discovered a book regarding Breslov chassidus in geniza and decided to join the ranks of this chassidut. He led an unassuming life until he became known as the 'ba'al hapetek' in the wake of a heavenly note he received with the famed line: נח נח נחמ נחמן מאומן.
