Pair of Binders of Issues of the Weekly Publication 'Sikot.' Tel Aviv, 1941-1943
Two thick binders containing issues of the Sikot journal - a weekly humor and satire publication, with caricatures by illustrator and caricaturist Yosef Bass. Tel Aviv, 1941-1943.
This weekly deals primarily with Jewish life in Tel Aviv. These issues contain many caricatures dealing with WWII, which was taking place during those years.
Yosef Bass [1908-1995] was also the main caricaturist for the HaAretz newspaper for approximately 30 years.
Volume I, second year, 1941: 48 issues.
Volume II, fourth year, 1943: 47 issues.
Overall fine condition. Original bindings.
