Three original photographs of a Jewish soldier who served in the Russian army during the First World War. Two photographs of him as a soldier in uniform, and an additional photograph of him as a baby in his mother's arms.
Enclosed is a newspaper article from the time, in which the soldier is seen in uniform, together with other Jewish soldiers who served in the Russian army from 1904.
Two cabinet photographs: 16x12 cm. A large photograph: 24x18 cm.
Minimal stains. Tears and peeling on the photographer's background. The photographs themselves are in fine condition.
