Freemasons Medal. Hamburg, end of the 19th Century
Medal from the freemasons in honor of Friedrich Ludwig Schroder, head of the Hamburg lodge. Copper? Brass? End of the 19th century. 50 mm. diameter. Designed like a coin with the triangular freemason emblem at its top. Attached to a red ribbon. Obverse: bust of Schroder. Reverse: the organization's emblems and the Hebrew word for 'wisdom' in punctuated Hebrew letters. Words of praise in German. XF.
