Gold Danish 1/2 Ducat with a bust of Christian IV, King of Denmark. 1646. 18 mm. diameter. 1.7 grams. The name and bust of the king on the obverse. The reverse features the Tetragrammaton with punctuation and text (Latin?). Christian IV's reign was one of the best eras in Danish history. The coin was issued two years before his death. The shape slightly changed over the years. XF+.
