Sha'agat Aryeh. Copy that belonged to the gaon Rabbi Moshe Yehudah Ehrenreich, son of the Lechem Shlomo of Shamloy. Handwritten Glosses
Sefer Sha'agat Aryeh - the epitome of Talmudic genius, by the gaon Rabbi Aryeh Leib of Metz. Warsaw, 1912. Pedigree copy. Glosses.
The flyleaf bears two owners' notations that relate that this sefer belonged to the gaon Rabbi Moshe Yehudah Ehrenreich [during his father's lifetime] "The youth Moshe Yehuda Ehrenreich, son of the gaon, the av beit din here, shlit"a." as well as other notations which relate that this sefer belonged to him. Several scholarly glosses appear on the sheets of the leaves of the sefer, some lengthy, apparently also in his penmanship.
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the gaon Rabbi Moshe Yehudah Ehrenreich.
206 pp, 33 cm.
Fine condition. Minimal aging stains. Light tears in the margins of several leaves, without damage or lack. Dismantled binding.
