Early Psak Din Signed by Rabbi Yitzchak Ya'akov Weiss

Psak din about the prohibition of entering a place of avodah zarah even if it is not at the time of their services, signed by Rabbi Yitzchak Ya'akov Weiss, Manchester, 1961.

This ruling was written on the Manchester Va'ad HaShechitah stationery. It was written as a result of several rabbis' uncertainty about this prohibition. As such, the beit din in Manchester reinforced the prohibition and provided sources for it. The ruling was signed by Rabbi Weiss and Rabbi Yitzchak Goldich, who was a dayan in Manchester (refer to Minchat Yitzchak Part X siman 59).

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Ya'akov Weiss, ga'avad of Jerusalem.
