Birkat Erusin and Birkat HaMazon on Parchment. Germany, 18th-19th Century
Scribal script on parchment with Birkat HaErusin and Birkat HaMazon for weddings.
Beautiful triple-striped border in the margins of the leaf. Each blessing is introduced by a colorful title in large, decorative letters. The blessings themselves are in a beautiful scribal script.
The scribe signed his name at the end: Avraham Seltzer, sofer sta"m.
[8] leaf. Processed parchment. 15 cm.
Fine condition. Aging stains. Original leather binding, chafed.
