This is the first edition of the Biur HaGR"A - a profound and important elucidation on the Shulchan Aruch, printed here for the first time; there have since been many commentaries written on it. Approbations at the beginning of the book from: Rabbi Yisrael Lipschitz, author of Tiferet Yisrael; Rabbi Ya'akov Tzvi of Ecklenberg, author of HaKtav V'Hakabbalah;and from the Malbi"m. All of them expound on the importance of these glosses which were printed here for the first time. Also appearing in this edition for the first time: index of topics for the Biur HaGR"A by the transcriber and arranger, who signs, 'he who speaks with awe and fear of our exalted rabbi, zy"a, the youth MY"G.'
