Giant, diverse collection of about 3,400 coins, medals and tokens from around the world, 19-20th century. This collection was assiduously built over a period of fifty years by one devoted collector. The collection includes coin, tokens and medals from numerous countries throughout the world, including rare and old coins from the 19th century, over 100 Palestine mil coins, Israeli tokens and medal, and American Indian head coins and American silver coins. The following is a general description of the collection: Binder 1: United States: about 500 coins: 1, 5, 10, 25 cents, 1941-2014; about 20 Indian head nickels 1899, 1925-1936; about 50 half-dollars, dollar, some silver, including the busts of presidents, the White House and the Treasury. France: About 10 old coins – 1853-1900. About 200 coins – 5, 10, 20 Centimes, 1/2, 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 Francs. 1920-1994 (including Vichy franks minted during the war). Binder 2: Britain: About 300 Pound, Penny, Pence, and Shilling coins. 1911-2012. Guernsey (Near Britain): about 20 coins. 1830-1945. Mil coins, Palestine: About 90 coins – 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 mil. 1927-1946. Israel: About 300 coins and medals 1/2, 1, 5, 10 new Israeli shekels (including ones with busts of the presidents). 1, 5, 10 old and new agurot. 1/2, 1, 5 liras, 250 prutot, 25 Israeli mil. Government medals: V’Samachta B’Chagecha, Peace Talks 1977, Degania’s Jubilee, Yitzchak Rabin, Maccabbees, telephone tokens and more. 1949-2012. Australia, Canada, Spain, Italy, Mexico: about 255 coins. 1866-2005. Due to time constraints, this large rare collection has not been thoroughly inspected, and it is possible that rare valuable coins are included. The collection will be sold-as-is in one large lot. Within four thick binders for coin collections along with an additional binder with documents relating to coin collecting. The coins are in various conditions; primarily from fine-very fine condition.
