Certificate of Excellence from WWI. Printed signature by Winston Churchill, July 1919
Certificate granted to Captain E. M. Oliphent for excellence on the battlefield (this officer fought in battles in Gallipoli and in the Land of Israel) by General Allenby. The Secretary of State for War at the time, Winston Churchill, signed the certificate.
Another document regarding receipt of the certificate is attached.
